Your warm strong fingers carefully graze my shoulders
The action potential travel down the fibers
From the receptor cells just under the skin
Through the peripheral nerve and the plexus
Ascending the anterior spinal thalamic tract
Summating in the thalamus
Creating awareness of the warmth
Between you and me.
